Drunk Fergie Delays Flight

Music star Fergie's drunken mischief caused the delay of a Virgin Atlantic flight from L.A. to London last Sunday, the Daily Mirror reports. Fergie, real name Stacey Fugason...er, Ferguson...was set to fly with Black Eyed Peas bandmates when airline staff noticed she was slurring her words and having trouble standing. Said a witness, "She was falling all over the place and had to be supported. She was in no state to fly. But when she was prevented from boarding she couldn't believe it. ... She was drunkenly ranting at staff but could barely string a sentence together. It was very embarrassing." The flight was delayed for an hour while Fergie's luggage was removed, and when the singer finally did arrive at London's Heathrow airport, she was said to be tired-looking. Virgin Atlantic refused to confirm the story, but did say a "female passenger was denied boarding as she appeared intoxicated and therefore unsuitable for travel."

Unsuitable for travel? What an outrage. I mean, maybe Fergie was drunk, but shit - to throw her off the plane? Why was that necessary? Okay, sure, she can't sit in the passenger compartment with the other people in that state, because of the disruption, but what the hell? Why delay the flight for an hour? Just chuck her in the baggage hold and strap her down. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened to her.
