Dina Lohan has long identified herself as a former Rockette - but would it shock you to discover that no record can be found of her ever having been a member of that particular band of high-kicking performers?
Someone at Page 6 - who appear to have almost as big a bur in their saddle about Dina as I do - got suspicious about Dina's claim that she once danced at Radio City Music Hall with the world-famous showgirls. So they called up Radio City and asked them to check. And - surprise, surprise - after poring over the records, they Radio City folks were unable to find any evidence that anyone named Dina Lohan or Donata Sullivan (Dina's maiden name) ever took the stage there.
But do the lies end there? Of course not. Various Dina Lohan bios claim the cokehead show-biz mom acted on Broadway and in commercials before turning her attention to ruining her daughter's life. Well, then she should be a member of SAG and AFTRA, right? Problem is, Dina does not belong to either of those unions. Also, a member of Dina's family has told Page 6 that Dina "never did a Broadway show" and "never did ads."
Dina is not, in her defense, personally responsible for every bio that's posted on the Internet. However, when people do post things in bios, they usually don't just make stuff up out of thin air - they're usually getting it from someplace, if only from previous, equally dubious postings. The point here is that the stories must've come from somewhere - and would anyone put it past Dina to make up a list of phony accomplishments and, over the years, disseminate these? The woman clearly has a rather complicated relationship with the truth. In fact, I think the truth kicked her out the back door at some point, and she's never bothered trying to get back in. Besides, on some level who can blame her? If you were as utterly worthless and pathetic as Lohan, a cocktail waitress who made ends meet by sucking cock on the side, would you not also claim to have been a Rockette?
Of course, the real amusement over this doesn't begin until Dina is directly challenged over her false resume. It doesn't appear this will take place any time soon though - she seems to have gone into hiding since Lindsay had her car episode and landed back in rehab. When Dina does emerge, however, there will surely be a quick denial, followed by an accusation of stones being thrown at glass houses by people who themselves live in dwellings fashioned of brittle material. Something along the lines of, "I never said that. I can't be held responsible for everything everyone says. No one else can judge me." Just like when she claimed she never called herself White Oprah, but it was her friends who gave her that handle. No - in Dina's world, Dina never does anything to initiate any unpleasantness, it's always someone else. Such is the pattern of the true neurotic. And she's done a marvelous job instilling these habits in Lindsay, who is currently in the process of denying her way right into the grave.
