What does this appearance say about Ms. Palin? That she's mean or just too weak-kneed to object at a moment when class and dignity demand it? She seems like a frivolous airhead who doesn't have her life in order. And this is someone we want leading our nation? John McCain just gave a lot of people a very good reason not to vote for him. If he wants to impress us with his judgment and decisiveness, he'll boot Palin right now and get someone else. There's precedent for it of course - when McGovern got rid of Tom Eagleton after it emerged that Eagleton had a history of psychiatric problems. Palin clearly has a history too - of being a vapid twat. That should be grounds for dismissal.
