Fred Thompson is running at 1% right now in the New Hampshire primary. 1 freaking percent! And this was supposed to be the guy to swoop in and save the Republican party? Get him out!
Meanwhile, it's neck-and-neck between Rudy Giuliani and Ron Paul for 4th. There's no truth to the rumor, as far as I know, that Paul's people have been running around in packs beating up anyone wearing a John McCain or Mitt Romney button (McCain won and Romney finished 2nd for those not keeping up).
Rudy Giuliani has a chance to get beat by Ron Paul in New Hampshire. How humiliating is that? Hopefully Rudy will also take a hint and just go away. In his surrender statement, I hope he will have the decency to avoid mentioning 9/11. Seriously...I heard a rumor that Rudy was at a restaurant the other day, and when the waitress asked him what he wanted he said, "9/11. I'm sorry I meant eggs and 9/11. Er...toast."
