Billy Bob Thornton will take over for Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger in a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. The move has Englund's approval, so there's no reason for Elm Street geeks to get all bent about it. There are Elm Street geeks right? Yeah...40-year-old guys with figurines and posters and plastic Freddy fingers they whip out to impress girls with. They probably wonder why the Freddy fingers don't work on the girls.
