Jamie Lynn Spears attends the premiere of Nancy Drew in Hollywood (yes, they have made a movie of Nancy Drew). All right, here's the deal - Jamie Lynn Spears is a very cute girl. But guess what? It ain't gonna matter. The people lining up to exploit her are going to find things wrong with her. They're going to tell her she needs to lose weight, she needs lip injections, a nose-job, a stylist - and in a couple years she will be a self-hating wreck, who needs drugs just to keep from killing herself. You know what I wish? I wish Jamie Lynn would have an epiphany - you know, realize the whole thing is bullshit? Figure out, magically, that fame and fortune are not worth giving up your happiness for. I hope that when she turns 18 Jamie Lynn gets in a car and blows the whole thing off, moves to some anonymous town, changes her name, gets a job waiting tables, maybe takes some classes at a community college, finds a boyfriend or girlfriend (whatever turns her crank), gets herself a little place, has some laughs, maybe ends up getting a nice job as a secretary or something, marries, pumps out a few kids and lives happily ever after. But, it won't happen - because she's been programmed by her fiendish parents to think she owes it to them to become famous like her sister. Poor Jamie Lynn.
