Angelina Jolie, the most powerful celebrity in the world according to Forbes, is flexing her globe-changing muscles by demanding action on behalf of refugees in Darfur. "Friday is a defining moment in the history of justice," Jolie writes in the new issue of Time. "The members of the United Nations Security Council will be presented with the results of the International Criminal Court's Darfur investigation — an investigation that they requested. Their response will determine whether there is going to be an international standard of justice that holds perpetrators accountable for the worst crimes in the world."
My guess is that their response will be to do nothing - it is the UN after all. If you want an international standard of justice, you'll have to put in a call to Superman, and Aquaman and possibly the Green Hornet.
I wonder what Angie thinks to herself when she writes her little articles to publish in Time? Does she honestly believe that her words are going to effect change? Does it really irritate her when no one seems to pay attention? Why can't this twat just make stupid movies and pump out babies and ruin Brad's life, and quit with the fucking crusading?
