New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin and his wife are under quarantine in Shanghai after Chinese authorities learned a passenger on their flight in had swine flu. If the Chinese are following their usual procedure with the Nagins, they'll be kept a week at a hotel until being let go.
If there were justice in the world, the Chinese would stick Nagin in a giant, leaky sports arena with no food, surrounded by dead bodies. Or give him some rope and a copy of "1001 Ways to Get Yourself Off While Stuck in a Hotel Room in Asia" by David Carradine.
