If you want to call starring in a remake of cheesy '80s cult fave Red Dawn "launching a movie career."For those who missed it, Red Dawn told the story of a some Colorado teenagers who became guerilla fighters after a Soviet invasion of the US. The movie starred Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Powers Boothe and Superfly. The remake will allegedly have Russian and Chinese soldiers invading Colorado. Those fuckers just can't leave Colorado alone.
Producers may think they scored a coup by nabbing Tom Cruise's son, but wait until Tom starts showing up on the set and bossing everyone around. "Oh, you didn't like the way my kid read that line? Well I hope you like Scientologist thugs whipping your ass in the parking lot at six in the morning bucko."
