Now we know why Amy Winehouse was out wandering the streets, looking distressed, in a bra and no shoes at 5 in the morning over the weekend - she was sleeping, and heard a noise, and went outside and got scared by the photographers.
Amy was not, I repeat not, on some kind of a drunk. At least that's what her reps say. The official statement went like this:
She was not on an all-night bender. ... She'd been sound asleep, and then there were all these photographers – of course she looked startled.
The reps say Amy went outside because the noises made her think some friends had shown up, and when she realized it was only the paps she went back inside. I don't know about you, but when my friends come over at 5 in the morning, my first reaction is to walk outside in the cold with no shirt or shoes on and look around for them. I never wait inside in the warmth for them to knock on the door.
