Pete Doherty was arrested in Geneva, Switzerland on Friday after he was discovered in the bathroom on a British Airways flight doing things he wasn't supposed to be doing with a needle full of a substance he wasn't supposed to have.
"A few people on the plane recognised Pete and he went to the bathroom more than halfway into the flight," a witness described. "He had been in there for about 25 minutes when the announcement came over the tannoy for the crew to prepare the flight for landing.
"The crew knocked on the door but Pete didn’t come out. They eventually managed to get in 10 minutes before the plane landed. Pete was taken back to his seat and he looked completely out of it. One of the crew took a needle out of the toilet wrapped in a tissue."
Hey look, we all suffer a little air sickness from time-to-time. Pete happened to have a little medication on him that could help with the condition, and he didn't want to alarm everyone by shooting it right in front of them, so, he went to the bathroom. So what if the medication happened to be heroin? If he'd had enough of it, I'm sure he would've shared, and then everyone could've smacked out, and what a wonderful stress-free flight that would've been.
Pete is persecuted just because he likes drugs and is fixated on a model who no longer wants to know he's alive. It's wrong.
