Actually, TMZ has learned that Paris will be able to make her court appearance by phone. Now we won't have to worry about her virtuoso acting swaying the judge. Ha.

Update: It was a circus in front of Paris's house when the sheriff's cruiser came to pick her up and take her to court. A chopper caught Hilton hugging people, then being taken to the car, cuffed and put inside. As the car tried to drive off, it was rushed by reporters and paps, and one KNBC newsman was run down. He wasn't hurt; in fact, moments later, he was interviewing people who saw him get run over. Paris is currently in the cruiser, being driven to the courthouse - with helicopters following. The car appears to be hitting nothing but red lights, so Paris could be a little late - again.
Update: Paris is at the courthouse. I'm hungry.
