Chesty actress Scarlett Johansson is set to launch a new career - as a musician.Scarlett's first album, to be released by Rhino Records' Atco label, will reportedly be a compilation of Tom Waits covers entitled Scarlett Sings Tom Waits (how brilliant).
Tom Waits, I've been informed, is a smelly folk troubadour-type guy, like Bob Dylan except slightly more coherent.
According to an unnamed music industry insider, "Scarlett has a lovely, whispery delivery that carries a tune nicely and is suited to Waits' unusual lyrics."
I like Scarlett - she has balls. I just wish she would've chosen some better material. Cole Porter maybe, or some Barbra. I'd love to hear Scarlett duet with Keanu Reeves on "You Don't Bring Me Flowers." Scarlett would be singing the male part of course.
