Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are doing everything they can to keep their relationship under wraps, but it doesn't seem to be working. The latest on the couple, via People magazine, is that the two set up a "secret" rendezvous in L.A., timed to coincide with Reese's press conference announcing her new deal with Avon. Jake, it's reported, was "stashed away" in the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel while Reese completed her press commitments, then the two met up for a night of hot-and-heavy sexing. Apparently the ploy didn't work because, well, here we are talking about it. Don't these two know how chatty doormen, bellhops and other hotel employees are? They need to try harder. Might I suggest investing in some kind of underwater dwelling they can travel to by submarine when they want some privacy. Or perhaps they could look into acquiring some land on the moon? I've heard the Sea of Tranquility is very nice this time of year.
