Paris Exposed On-Line

Paris Hilton is a very private person who never likes to make a spectacle of herself in public. So, one can imagine how humiliating it would be for her to have tons of personal things suddenly become available to people over the web. It would be horrifying! Well kids, that horror has come true for shy little Paris. Thanks to a website called ParisExposed.com, anyone willing to shell out $39.97 can now view highly personal artifacts from Paris's time on earth. Photographs, love letters, credit card bills, e-mails, even a few never-before-seen sex-tapes. It's all there, according to the people at ParisExposed (who offer this trailer as a taste of the collection they've amassed).

And how exactly did this Museum of Paris History come to be compiled? According to Paris's reps, it was all a mix-up. The entire collection of stuff, which included a 33-piece jewelry set that has already been sold on eBay, was in a storage locker, but somehow, someone neglected to pay the $208 fee and the items were removed and put up for auction. An unnamed fellow purchased the collection for $2,775, then turned around and sold it to David Hans Schmidt, a man well-known for peddling sex tapes, including ones featuring Ms. Hilton. Schmidt then sold the items himself to a fellow named Bardia Persa, the man behind the ParisExposed website, which boasts of having "retrieved, catalogued, itemized and digitized every last item" from the storage locker. And now it's all there for you to see. If such a thing interests you.

And what specific things can we learn about Paris from this website? Here are some of the teaser lines from their tour:

  • What is her obsession with Britney Spears? See a young Paris's collection of Britney memorabilia and see what she wrote about in her diary before Britney's divorce.
  • Read the pathetic love notes from Nick Carter.
  • What does she really think about Nicole Richie? Read exclusive notes and letters.
  • Is Paris an alcoholic? If not, then why did she go to AA? See who she chose as her sponsor.
  • Get the private phone numbers of thousands of celebrities, including Donald Trump, Chelsea Clinton, Michael Jackson, Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Madonna, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many more.
  • See a private Girls Gone Wild session featuring Paris and filmed by Joe Francis in St. Tropez.
  • Have you ever seen a kilo of cocaine? How about one someone's chest?
  • How much does Paris love her toys? Never before seen private sex videos.

That all sounds pretty meaty - maybe not worth almost forty bucks for the subscription, but still. Then again, this is Paris Hilton - we probably could've suspected that the girl was doing some pretty wild stuff. And, of course, this isn't the first time Paris has had such an embarrassing misfortune befall her. She had her cell-phone hacked into and lots of personal numbers lifted off it once (lesson to all celebs: do not give Paris Hilton your number). But that pales in comparison to this situation, which is so serious that, reportedly, lawyers are working on seeing what they can do about removing the material from public view.

By the way, the failure to pay the fee on the storage locker is being characterized by Paris's reps as a bureaucratic mix-up. Someone, in other words, was supposed to pay it, but never got around to it. I wonder if the person or persons responsible for this "mix-up" were merely negligent, or if something more sinister was afoot. Who knows? The only thing I'm sure of is that there's no way I'm laying down forty bucks to see the rest of what's on that site. I'll just wait for the torrents.
