When Jessica Simpson flubbed her Dolly Parton tribute performance at the recent Kennedy Center Honors, forgetting the words to 9 to 5 and generally behaving like an unprofessional twit, CBS, which televises the event every year, was nice enough to allow Jessica to re-tape her number after the live show had completed. Well, apparently that do-over wasn't exactly brilliant either. At least that's what Jessica seems to think, given that she has asked that the number be excised from the forthcoming TV presentation entirely.
And I for one say, "Good for you Jessica." It's about time one of you phony pop-stars admitted you suck. Perhaps this will set off a rash of honesty from these lame-wads. Christina Aguilera admitting she sounds like a ferret being strangled (how about singing one note at a time Christina). Fergie admitting she doesn't really have any talent and is essentially a hooker with a microphone. Clay Aiken admitting that when he was a kid his mom used to dress him up as a girl and make him do Shirley Temple numbers for her drunk friends, and they would throw money at him and blow cigarette smoke in his face until he cried.
