Ashlee Simpson walks around in Beverly Hills. This girl needs to try harder I think. I don't mean she has to go the full-on cooch-flash route a la Britney, but she should at least make some effort to open up to the cameras. You know, give them the peace sign. Or at least smile at them. Every time you see a picture of this girl, she looks like she just wants to disappear into a hole. Doesn't she know what being a celebutard is all about? Dourness doesn't sell Ashlee. And since no one takes you seriously as a performer, there isn't much left for you to do but make a dumb, drunken spectacle of yourself in public. If you're not willing to do that, then you might as well just head for the nearest Quizno's and ask for an application.
