TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has had surgery to remove her appendix.
The 20-year-old sometime-actress complained of feeling ill yesterday and went to a doctor. Tests confirmed that she was suffering from appendicitis, and doctors told her to return to the hospital today to have the appendix taken out.
Lindsay's rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, says the actress is resting comfortably after the procedure.
When reached for comment, Lindsay's appendix said it was happy to finally be free of that toxic waste dump known as Lindsay's body. The appendix said it hopes someday all of Lindsay's organs will be liberated, and transplanted into the bodies of Amish people.
