I can't believe this, but there are some suspicious-minded sons of bitches out there who think Lindsay Lohan and her reps were lying when they said Lindsay went into the hospital the other day for an appendectomy. These people are actually suggesting - and this totally blows my mind - that there was some other secret reason for Lindsay being admitted to the medical facility, and some have even gone so far as to speculate that Lindsay suffered a drug overdose during a protracted New Year's party-binge.
Is that insane or what?
Lindsay Lohan partying like a wild animal and suffering an overdose? Everyone knows Lindsay doesn't do that anymore - she's in AA, and only drinks bottled water and energy drinks, and certainly doesn't do any hard drugs. Never mind the claims of those liars over at Page 6, whose "sources" (fictitious ones no doubt) say Lindsay was seen in Miami drinking vodka out of water bottles. Who cares what Page 6 says? Lindsay's reps are the only ones who have any credible information. And her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, said Lindsay went in to have her appendix removed. So that's the end of it.
But, of course, for some of these assholes, that's not the end of it. Like those trouble-makers over at TMZ. They've got footage that supposedly shows Lindsay "running around and yelling" just a day after the appendix surgery. Well, Crabbie has viewed the footage, and Lindsay is hardly "running around." And the one word she yells, "Michael," comes in a clear moment of distress. So anyone trying to use this snippet as proof that something other than an appendectomy went on in that hospital is just plain desperate.
So, again, we have a clear case of people trying to foment controversy where there isn't any. Don't these fools have anything better to do with their lives? Poor Lindsay gets sick, and all anyone wants to believe is that it was drugs or booze or a secret abortion (as if Lindsay would be irresponsible enough to get knocked up). How would you bastards feel if people went around spreading stories like that about you? Leave Lindsay alone. She's done nothing to earn your scorn. She's just a simple girl trying to make a living in the big, bad world.
