Leto and his people would have us believe Jared was mauled when he waded into the crowd - very rock 'n' roll Jared (in other words stupid and lame). But sources have told Page 6 a different story - that Leto actually broke his nose and injured his foot when he dove from the stage and the fans below went butterfingers.
"He flung himself directly off the stage into the crowd," said the source, "and nobody in the crowd caught him. ... We were given no warning. Jared landed really hard on the ground, and people were accidentally stepping on him."
