Halle Berry has taken it upon herself to chide Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for adopting foreign babies rather than trying to help needy American orphans. Said Halle:
There are lots of children that need a home in America. I feel we have forgotten about our own kids. With Brad and Angelina it's whatever works for them.
Halle made these remarks after saying she herself would like to adopt one day, assuming she is unable to have a child biologically. Given that Halle is now 39 (or 40, depending on which source you believe), I wouldn't be holding my breath for a bio-baby if I were her. Then again, with fertility drugs and all, it's possible Halle could still pump out a kid at 60. Anyway, I think it's interesting that she decided to take after Brad and Angie that way. Not that she was particularly savage in her attack - her remarks were more in the way of an implied criticism than and out-and-out assault. Still, it makes you wonder - do Brad and Angie have any friends in the Hollywood community at all? Seems like they get bashed a lot. And I have to believe that's mostly Angie's fault. I'm thinking a lot of people in the movie biz regard her the way we do - as some kind of delusional, narcissistic maniac. All right, I realize I just described ninety-percent of the people in show-biz, but still - Angelina seems an extreme case. You know you're pretty far-gone when a suicidal wack-job like Halle Berry comes across more sensible and level-headed than you.
