Felicity Huffman Is An Idiot

Felicity Huffman picked the wrong weekend to stick up for Georgia Rule co-star Lindsay Lohan.

Here's what Huffman, who plays Lohan's mom in the film, told Parade about working with the famed party-animal:

Once people see the movie. God willing, the performances will eclipse any gossip. ... To me, Lindsay was a complete and utter delight. The minute I met her I just loved her. She meets you with an open heart and wide-open eyes and gets right in there. She cares about the work. She throws herself in, 100 percent. ... I just adored her. She’s fantastic in the movie. It doesn’t get any better than what she did. Brilliant.

Ms. Huffman - would you like a job sticking up for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes?

Jesus, is there a single person in Hollywood who has any instincts about people at all? Lindsay "meets you with an open heart and wide-open eyes?" Did you bother checking those eyes to see if the pupils were dilated Felicity?

Oh, and how do we feel, Ms. Huffman, about our spirited, completely absurd defense of Lindsay coming out the same weekend as the stills from Lindsay's coke-binge video?

Yes, I know - it's not Felicity's fault the Parade interview happened to come out at the same time as the News of the World story on Lindsay's insanity. Nevertheless, this coincidence does make for a good object-lesson in the perils of defending Lohan. See Felicity - Lindsay doesn't give a shit about anything but Lindsay, and all your crap about how delightful she is, that's just your own silly dizzbo Hollywood blindness. We know what Lindsay is - a sex-addict cokehead sociopath - and it's not the fault of the tabloids or the blogs that we think this way. That's what she really is! You're the one with their head up their ass, Felicity. So, in future, I hope you will refrain from trying to make us think Lindsay is just this dear, misunderstood little girl. Because, every time you do, something will come out that makes your statements look ludicrous and badly timed. Standing up for Lindsay Lohan is, I'm afraid, not a great way to help one's own credibility.
